We can better protect our health by consuming more tea, as this drink has a number of beneficial effects. Regular drinking can also contribute to your daily fluid intake.

Although tea is the second most consumed beverage in the world after water, we Hungarians are not among the big tea-drinking nations. Eight families out of 10 buy tea regularly, but less than half of people (44 percent) drink tea a day, much more like a once-a-week tea (80 percent). Interestingly, this is also considered to be the most regular in the first and last quarters of the year, so the tea is considered a fall-winter beverage.
What kind of tea do we like?In recent years, an interesting trend has emerged in the consumption of tea, turning away from traditional black tea and becoming the favorite of herbal and genuine fruit teas. This latter part of the consumption decision, while green tea occurs in only about 10 percent of our cheeses, and the proportion of traditional tea varieties decreases under the uniform. This is somewhat offset by the consumption of refrigerated iced milk in the summer, of which we drink more than tens of liters per year and per head.
Why did you have to drink?
In a summary study, 150,000 people were examined and found that regular tea users have lower incidence of breast, ovarian, prostate and lung cancer, and have been reported to have little or no tea. The effect was most pronounced when consuming green tea, but it was also observed with black tea. However, far more people may be concerned that tea is proven to have a damaging effect on teeth if consumed without sugar.
After tea, the number of bacteria in the intestine is reduced so that they can form less plaque, and the activity of the amylase enzyme in the saliva, which is a simple but degrading sugar in the carbohydrates. However, it is also worth mentioning the high fluoride and manganese content of tea.
"Thanks to its caffeine content, it is a refreshing, vital drink, lowers fatigue, increases physical and mental capacity," says Prof. Dr. Barna alnz.

" - sums up the professor.
A survey conducted by University College London staff at the University of London also revealed the stress-relieving properties of tea. In a six-week study, the choice of a black tea drink and fruit-based tea for drinking was similar to that of a physiologic parameter, such as a physiological parameter or a comparator. I found that in stressful situations, both members of the group respond similarly, but those who consume black tea become much quicker, and thus process stress more easily.
What's in our tea?
According to the dietitian, the anti-tumor effect is attributed most to research by epigallocatechin-3-gallate, EGCG, which has been confirmed in animal studies. It is the most abundant in green tea, but also abundant in black tea.
According to the expert, the flavonoid content of tea is also particularly important. These compounds have a strong antioxidant effect, are produced in the highest amounts during the fermentation of the leaves, and contain about 200 mg in a cup of fine tea. A few years ago, a Dutch study concluded that people with significantly higher levels of flavonoids had significantly reduced risk of heart disease. You should know that high tannic teas can cause discolouration of the teeth and reduce iron absorption.
Emese Antal reassures those who are concerned about the caffeine content of tea: "A cup of tea contains about 40-50 mg of caffeine, so adults can consume it 2-3 times a day without any problems. It is also a presumption in its concentration, caffeine does not increase the amount of water lost from the body. Tea also contributes to covering the body's fluid requirements. " - close the words of the dietitian.
